Your project is run by a Professional Partner Architect and installed by a local Approved Installer — both trained and approved by ecoTrus.
You’ll get a fully built loft shell: structure, roof, exterior finish, windows, and staircase installed, scaffold down, and ready for your chosen interior trades.
Who Does What
Partner Architect – Design & Compliance
- Visits site, measures, and collects all RFIs (Required Field Information)
- Arranges 3D scan and produces the digital model
- Creates the full Design Pack (plans, elevations, stairs, insulation build-ups)
- Manages Building Control, structural calculations, and any planning applications
- Oversees coordination with your Approved Installer
Approved Installer – Build & Exterior Completion
- Independent, insured company trained in the ecoTrus system
- Installs the full steel structure, roof, and flooring system
- Completes the exterior finish — tiled, clad, or rendered to your chosen style
- Fits windows, fascias, soffits, and rainwater goods
- Installs the first-fix staircase for safe access (no handrails or spindles yet)
- Leaves your property weathertight, scaffold down, and ready for internal trades
ecoTrus – Supply & Technical Support
- Supplies the patented steel system and custom fixings
- Provides the build pack, structural certification, and all calculations
- Offers technical support throughout your project
- Maintains the LABC Type 1 approval pathway for full compliance
