No party wall act required
The Party Wall etc Act 1996 prohibits neighbouring properties from point loading the shared wall.
This is only necessary when using traditional RSJ steel purlins that must be pocketed into the wall.
This means potentially that it could restrict the neighbour from a loft conversion hence why a party wall agreement is extremely expensive.
Fear not! The ecoTrus system goes front to back and does not need to touch any neighbouring walls. If a staircase is required against the neighbouring wall, we suggest you get a minor works agreement.
