What Is The Difference Between A Habitable Conversion And Non-habitable Conversion?
It’s easy to confuse a loft conversion with loft storage. A loft conversion will need building regulations and sometimes planning permission whereas a non-habitable loft conversion doesn’t. Habitable spaces must have an appropriate means of escape and a minimum head height of 2 metres is required post conversion.
