How Do I Measure My Loft?

Loft Height – For the loft height measure from the bottom of the floor joists to the highest point on the ridge.

Loft Size – For the loft size, measure from the left gable to the right gable, then measure from your front wall plate to your back wall plate. For example, if your gable to gable is 7.2m and your wall plate to wall plate is 5.5m, multiply the two figures together and that gives you the square meterage of your loft at 39.6m2.
